THE YVONNE FOREY LYME DISEASE FUND

In 2003, Blackpool mother of three Yvonne Forey got married, and went on a beautiful honeymoon to Canada. Whilst there, she was bitten by a tick and became infected with the rapidly becoming more widespread infection known as Lyme Disease.
Parasites from the bite quickly infected her blood stream and today she is housebound, suffering daily bleeding (including from her eyes, ears, throat, and nose), hallucinations, headaches, seizures, memory loss, blood clots, and sickness. Not willing to help, her newly-wed husband left her.
Advanced Lyme Disease is not currently funded within the NHS, and her GP refuses to recognise her condition. Yvonne therefore faces dealing with this worsening, crippling, and terminal illness without any help or support.
Yvonne desperately needs funding to go to the USA, where the condition is recognised and she can be treated. Total cost is £60,000+ for the flights, accommodation, and the course of treatment required and all profits from "Showtime!" will be entered into this fund, which is also used to help pay for medications to help ease her pain.
Please attend this event and help raise funds and awareness for Yvonne and others like her. Let's get her from the right-hand photo back to the left-hand photo!
